To the Citizens and Political Parties...
On behalf of democratic values and in respect of the electoral mandate delivered by the people of Kerala in the 2025 local body elections, I extend heartfelt congratulations to all political parties and independent candidates who have achieved success. Your victories reflect the confidence placed in you by the electorate and the commitment of your supporters.
I extend my sincere congratulations to the UDF for its strong performance across Kerala’s local bodies, including winning four municipal corporations and a majority of municipalities and panchayats. I also acknowledge the historic achievement of the NDA, led by the BJP, in securing the Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation and making notable gains in municipalities. I recognize the efforts of the LDF and all other parties and candidates who participated but did not secure the desired outcome this time. Elections are a vital part of our democratic process, and I encourage continued public service with renewed commitment and purpose.
These elections reaffirm the strength of our Constitution, the vitality of democracy, and the power of the people’s mandate. I commend every voter for responsibly exercising their democratic right.
In the spirit of constructive governance and respectful political discourse, I wish success to all elected representatives as they begin their service, and I wish continued dedication to all who seek to lead and make a positive impact in the years to come.
